Don't forget that the Chime sign up process demands an SSN. Anyone can have two contact numbers, addresses, bank accounts but no one can have two SSN. So, the point is that creating double bank accounts with Chime is far from reality. However, if you are in such a condition where you need to create a brand new account, what you can do is to delete your current Chime account and create a new one.
Important Note: Before deleting your Chime bank account, don't forget to empty your account, disable direct deposit, deactivate your chime card and delete your personal information you shared in the app. Once you delete your current Chime account, you can create a new one after 90 days.
Good question! Joint bank accounts have proved quite helpful when it comes to maintaining transparency and sharing money management responsibilities between two or more persons.
