How do I change my Apple ID password in simple steps?

Forgetting user id or password is quite a normal issue at this point of time. Taking a serious note of this common problem, Apple has put a convenient way to recover forgotten passwords. These are steps to follow to recover your account if you no longer remember password and Id of Apple account:

• First step is to visit appleid.apple.com on your PC or phone browser.
• Now simply select the "Forgot Apple ID Password".
• Then enter the Apple ID in the given field and further select "Continue".
• The next screen will prompt you to enter your name and associated email address and proceed.
• Finally, to change your forgot Apple password, choose "I need to reset my Password".

How can you recover your forgotten Apple ID password with security questions?

However, the feature of security question and answer to protect the account from unauthorized access is quite old. But, even at this point in 2020, this feature is still in use to recover the iOS account with ease of mind. So, the idea here is to go through the Apple ID account page as I have mentioned already in the last section. Select “forgot Apple Id password” tab and proceed. This section is for those Apple users who have enabled 2-step verification on Apple. So, the thing is, there is a little different procedure to reset password on Apple. If the truth to be told, the above mentioned two password recovery methods can't help you if you have enabled 2-step verification on your Apple. So, what you have to do is just follow the below mentioned steps:

• Navigate to the Apple ID account page.
• As you know already, just select the "Forgot ID Password".
• Now simply enter your Apple ID and proceed.
• Then, automatically, as a result of activated Two-Step verification, you will get a code either to your phone number or email Id.
• Check your phone or email id for security code.
• Finally, enter the code in the given field and then change the password right away.
