- Selecting “Sample Company File” under the No Company Open window.
- Following which selects Sample Company Files from the list.

Solution 2. Opening up QuickBooks Company file Locally
Open the Company file locally and it can help you to detect if the problem lies within the location of the company file. For which, move the company file to the desktop and try opening it from there. - Move the folder to the same folder as the company file.
- Hover over to the .qbw extension file and right-click on it.
